After a courageous battle with cancer, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at age 64.
Beloved husband of Lyn (Freeman) VanderVeen. Loving father of Shannon Haynes (Brandon), Sarah OBrien (Robert) and grandfather of Melinda & Holly Haynes and Grace OBrien. Dear brother of Martin VanderVeen (Tina) and predeceased by his brother Henry VanderVeen and his parents Sake and Flora VanderVeen. Lovingly remembered by all Freeman and VanderVeen families.
Fred was a valued long time employee and friend to many at Loblaws and Zehrs.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY (519-904-0400) 2723 Victoria St. North (highway #7) Breslau, ON on Sunday, January 12, 2014 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 13th at 11:00 a.m.
Memorial donations to Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
