<div itemprop="description">KOCHER, WILLIAM HORST <br />Peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at age 77. <br />Survived by his loving wife of 56 years Phyllis Kocher (nee Dobson). Loving father of Bridget Kocher of Waterloo, John Kocher (Shell) of Stoney Creek and Richard Kocher of Campbellford. Much loved &quot;Opa&quot; of Brendan (Taylor) Gingerich from Waterloo, Jeff Gingerich of Waterloo, Gabi Kocher from Goldcoast, Australia, Alex (Danika) Kocher of Ottawa, and great grandfather to &quot;his special little girl&quot; True! Dear brother of Waltraudt Knock of Germany, Lori Grub of Waterloo, Irmgard Miramedi (Ahmad) of Maryland, USA, Inge Sauer (Rudi) of Germany and Dieter Kocher (Lisa) also of Germany. He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews from Germany, Canada and USA. Predeceased by his father Karl Kocher (1980) and his mother Elsa Kocher (1984). <br />We would like to thank Bill and Bob Reitzel for their great friendship and also Dr. Donna Ward, Dr. MacMillan, Dr. Sharkey, Dr. Golubov and Dr. Jakda for all their care and compassion. Special thanks to the caregivers, Melissa, Vanessa, Melanie, Jody and Michelle. Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Funeral Service at MEMORY GARDENS FUNERAL HOME &amp; CEMETERY, 2723 Victoria St. N., Breslau on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grand River Cancer Centre would be appreciated.
