<div itemprop="description">HENDRY, Sylvia Patricia “Grace” has passed away peacefully on September 6, 2016 at The Wenleigh Long Term Care Residence in Mississauga, previously of Guelph.<br><br>Grace is predeceased by her devoted husband, James (Jim, Jimmy) Hendry (2016), survived by her loving daughter Elizabeth (nee Hendry) and her husband Richard Green and dear grandchildren, Amber Rose and Ronin Green of Mississauga.<br><br>Grace was born in Laurel, Ontario in 1922 to George P. (1962) and Isabella Charlotte (1968) Hornett. Grace is predeceased by her parents and siblings, sister Winifred (1976) her husband Jack Webb (1987), Eveline (2006) her husband Cliff Cockerill (2001), brother William John (Jack) Hornett (1927), sister Isabella (1989) and her husband Doug Steele (2001), brother Roy Hornett (1972) and his wife Rose (2003), brother Donald Hornett (2012) and his wife Beatrice (2009). <br><br>Grace is survived by her sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Betty) Martin and predeceased by her brother-in-law, Hugh Martin Sr. (1985), of Guelph. She is also fondly remebered by her many generations of nephews, nieces, and relations here in Canada, Scotland, and Australia.<br><br>We invite friends and family to attend her Celebration of Life on Monday, September 12th, 2016 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, near Guelph, Ontario. Visitation is from 11:30 until 1:30, the funeral to follow. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers.<br><br></div>
