Surrounded by her loving family on Thursday July 3, 2014 at the Grand River Hospital. Loving and devoted wife and best friend of Robert "Bob" Kalan for over 27 years. Loving mother to Jeff Kalan, Michael Randall, Randy Kalan (Sandy Clement), Lori Cassell (Martyn), Denise MacDonald (Paul), Patti Del Cul (Bert), and Sheri Buddell (Will) . Fondly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Survived by her sisters Carolyn Hook (Ray Pollanen) of Waterloo, Ann Phillips (David) of Wales, Predeceased by her daugher in law Linda Kalan. Family and friends will be received at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home 2723 Victoria St. N. Breslau (Kitchener) 519 904 0400 on Monday July 7, 2014 from 12 noon until 1: 30 . A celebration of Margaret's life will be held in the chapel on Monday July 7, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. Interment to follow at the Memory Gardens Cemetery. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff of 5B ACU Grand River Hospital . Memorial donations to the Grand River Hospital Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
