It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lynn Irene Henley. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in her 69th year at the Innisfree House in Kitchener on October 2, 2016. Beloved wife of 50 years to Daniel Henley, loving mother to Christine Morgan (Rob). Proud Nana of Alyssa and Kyra and much loved sister of Carol Hopkins (Brian), Denise McConnell (Bert), Stephen Mackenzie (Colleen), Lorraine Mackenzie. Lynn was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Irene Mackenzie and her granddaughter Elise.
Special thank you to the friends and family that helped us through this journey and to Dr. Junker-Anderson, Dr. Ward, nurses Susan and Anna also PSW Veronica for their compassionate care over these last four months.
Friends and family will be received at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home 2723 Victoria St. N. Breslau (Kitchener) on Friday October 7, 2016 from 11 – 12 noon. A Celebration of Lynn’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel at 12 noon.
Memorial donations to the Innisfree House would be appreciated. If so desired a book of online condolences may be signed at www.memorycemetery.ca .
