<div itemprop="description">Jagdeo Persaud Jagsarran- 78 years old, passed away March 8th, 2016 at Cederwood Crescent from an unsuspected heart attack. <br /> <br />He leaves his wife Chandwati (Jean) Jagsarran, his sons Davendranauth (Dave) Jagsarran, Rajendranauth Jagsarran (Ricky), Jitendra Jagsarran, his daughter Kavita Jagsarran Singh and his late daughter Sharmila Desiree Jagsarran, son-in Law Dinesh Singh (Ken) and daughter-in laws Naz, Nalini, and Lisa, along with 11 grandchildren and numerous beloved family and friends. <br /> <br />Jagdeo immigrated from Guyana where he proudly served as a police officer. With his job he was given the wonderful opportunity to fulfill his duties in all three counties of Essequibo, Berbice and Demerara. In 1972 he was promoted to Criminal Detective and was stationed in Essequibo, where he was later transferred back to Georgetown Brickdam Police Station. When he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour in 1979 and became a member at the Gideon Organization, he nobly delivered the word of God in his community. In 1971 he retired in Williamsburg where he continued at the Town Constabulary as Officer in Charge in New Amsterdam. In 1993 Jagdeo moved to the United States where he continued a commendable profession as a security guard at AIG. In 2010, he moved to Canada to be closer to his family. <br /> <br />Throughout his life, Jagdeo Jagsarran was a remarkably outstanding individual. He always made sure to provide the best for his children and grandchildren and welcomed everyone he interacted with an open heart. While in Canada, he was a beloved and active member of the Faith Evangelical Church. Jagdeo loved socializing and keeping busy. He will be remembered as a generous, loving person who was a joy to anyone he crossed paths with and he will be greatly missed by his loved ones. <br /></div>
