WALKER, Heather Ann (Pellow)
Heather left us on June 19, 2014, in her 58th year, with the same grace and dignity with which she lived her life. Much loved wife of Jim and daughter of Bonnie and the late Clark Pellow. Sister to Mary (Warren) McGinnis, John (Sally) Pellow and Mike Pellow and sister-in-law to Lois (John) Walker. Heather will be missed by her nephews Marc (Ann) Pellow and Dan McGinnis and her nieces Kim (Dave) Bartlett, Amy (Jordan) Coldham and Ashley Walker. She was Godmother to Jay and Alex Vanderpas and best friend to Margaret-Anne Cripps.
We will remember Heather for her appreciation of a well played game of tennis or golf, a great vintage find and a perfectly accessorized outfit. She found great pleasure in nature and embraced life in their winter home in Arizona.
Heather will always be with us. All we need to do is listen with our hearts ...... for that is where she will always be.
Heather asked that there be no funeral or memorial service. Private family remembrances will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Dr Stacy Hubay of the Grand River Cancer Center, the Bayshore nurses and the staff of Hospice Wellington for their care and support.
For those who wish, donations may be made to: Habitat for Humanity “Build” or World Wildlife Fund Canada because Heather felt that
“all living things should have the security of their own space in the world.”
Condolences for the family may be offered through Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cemetery (memorycemetery.ca)
