<div itemprop="description">Lawrie, Carole (nee David) <br>It is with sadness that the family of Carole Elizabeth Lawrie (nee David) announce her passing on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2016 4 days before her 77th birthday at Fairview Mennonite Home (Cambridge). Daughter of the late Edgar Vincent David and Clara Elizabeth Barnes. Beloved wife of James Lawrie. Survived by daughter Linda Terava (nee Prole)-husband Stan, granddaughters Elyssa, Devin, Mara and Lauren Templeton (predeceased by son-in-law Jim Templeton); son Mark Prole-wife Diane, grandchildren Connor and Sydney; brother Ron David-wife Betty; sister Barbara Brown (late Ray)-nephews Derek Brown-wife Sasha, great nephews Dashiell and Coleman and Jason Brown-wife Andrea, great nephew James & great niece Amelia. Also survived by stepson James Lawrie -wife Gerri, grandchildren Terena Scott (nee Lawrie), Katie Lawrie, Tom Lawrie; great grandchildren Charlie Scott and Jack Scott; stepdaughter Christine Toltesi-Williams (nee Lawrie)- husband Dave Williams, grandchildren Aaron Toltesi and Shannon Toltesi; and stepson Kevin Lawrie- wife Kimberly, grandchildren Nicole and Matthew. Lovingly remembered by Bud Prole, Jennifer (Tomohiro) Hashimoto, special cousin Nanci (Steve) McCaul and other relatives and friends. <br>Carole worked for Bell Canada from the age of 16, for over 30 years, taking early retirement to enjoy her life with Jim, who she married on Remembrance Day 1987. She was known for her quick wit and her ability to make people “laugh until their stomach’s hurt.” She was a generous person, often helping people she didn’t even know when she saw a need that needed to be met. Life Member of the Bell Telephone Pioneers. <br>The family would like to thank the staff at Fairview Mennonite Home for their loving care over the last two years. <br>As per Carole’s wishes there will be no visitation. A memorial service will take place on Thursday, May 12th at 1:00pm at Memory Gardens 2723 Victoria St N, Breslau. 519 904 0400 Cremation will take place prior to the service.
