<div itemprop="description">Carol Hewitt-Misener age 66 of Guelph, passed peacefully and graciously at the Guelph General <br>Hospital in the early morning of Friday. June 24th 2016, surrounded by family. <br>Leaving behind a loving husband, Bill Misener, daughters Jennifer Swann <br>(Dale), Lesley Field (Jennifer),Carol Bailey, step children Kim Misener (Steve), Krista Misener- <br>Sobutka (Brad), Janice Misener (Mike), and Dan Misener (Nicole) and numerous grandchildren, father <br>Bill Hewitt, brother Curt Hewitt, many close cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and their families, <br> friends both new and old, near and far and her faithful Chihuahua companions Cee Cee, Chica and <br>Candy. Carol was predeceased recently by her mother, June Hewitt and brother, Craig Hewitt. <br>Visitation will be offered at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 2723 Victoria <br>St. N. Breslau, from 6-8pm on Wednesday, June 29th and again on Thursday, June 30th from <br>12-1pm, with a short service at 1pm and reception to follow. There will also be an open invitation for a <br>celebration of life for Carol at the Guelph Country Club on Thursday, July 7th from 12-5pm. <br>In lieu of flowers, donations collected by Memory Gardens will be used for a memorial bench for <br>the Port Elgin beach, with the remainder to be forwarded to the Breast Cancer Foundation. <br>Carols strength, courage and joy of life was an inspiration to any who knew her and she will be greatly <br>missed. A special thanks to her many doctors and nurses over the years. May she rest in peace. <br></div>
