<div itemprop="description">BRAUND-HEAP, Blanche - Blanche Isabella (nee Clarke) Braund-Heap passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 23rd, 2014 at Hospice Wellington in Guelph at the age of 88. She was born on April 15th, 1926. Loving mother of Wayne &amp; daughter-in-law Liz of Kitchener, David &amp; daughter-in-law Carol of Atlanta, Georgia, Cheryl of London and Dale &amp; daughter-in-law Nadine of Hamilton. Loving stepmother to Chris &amp; Jennifer Heap of Guelph and Paul Heap of Waterloo. Beloved Nana to Carey, Tanya, April, Katie, Chase, Jason, Alicia, Matthew, Adam and Emlyn. Cherished Great-Nana to Alexandra, Owen, Ella, Oliver, Ember, Emery, Renee, Magdalene and soon to be born baby Everet. Dear sister of Betty Stire and Mary Katherine (Ileen) Elliott. Predeceased by beloved husbands Charles Harry Braund of Oshawa and Stanley Jerome Heap of Halifax. Predeceased by son Brian of Guelph. Daughter of the late Mildred and Albert Clarke of Markdale. Predeceased by six siblings including brothers Floyd, Merle and Ronald Clarke as well sisters Jacqueline Smith and Hannah Smith. A special thanks goes out to sisters Betty &amp; Ileen and sister-in-law Anne as well as best friends Mavis McEwan, Pat Mooney, Beryl Dyer and friends at Three Willows church for their continued support, love and friendship. Additionally, the amazing care and compassion received by Evelyn and the CCAC team was deeply appreciated. Special thanks and gratitude to the staff at Hospice Wellington where Blanche spent many years as a volunteer and where she chose to spend her final days that were filled with love from her special friends who were also the staff. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday January 17th at 3:00 at Three Willows Church at 577 Willow Road in Guelph. Reception to follow at church. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Hospice Wellington. Online condolences can be expressed at www.memorycemetery.ca . Interment to follow at Memory Gardens in Breslau in the Spring. <br /></div>
